Meet the Experts: Jeanne Muzio and Seth Rotman of Private Jets US

Meet the Experts:

Air Partner's Jeanne Muzio, Head of US Private Jet Sales, and Seth Rotman, Senior Vice President of Private Jets

If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting Jeanne Muzio, Head of US Private Jet Sales, and Seth Rotman, Senior Vice President of Private Jets, you’ll know what a powerhouse pair they make.

Leading world-class teams, driving business growth, and delivering tailored travel solutions with a laser-like focus on customer service, they are experts in their field and a real asset to both Air Partner and their clients. We sat down with them to discuss where their aviation journeys began, what they find most rewarding about their roles, and what makes the Air Partner offering unique.

How long have you worked in aviation, and what attracted you to the industry?

Seth: Aviation has always been my passion – I was that kid taking aircraft books home from the library to memorise the stats. After college, I worked on the operations side for 8 years before transitioning into sales, which gave me a strong grounding in the ‘X’s and O’s’ of moving aircraft safely and efficiently. I joined Air Partner a decade ago because I wanted to be part of an organisation that consistently goes above and beyond – and that’s exactly what our teams do.

Jeanne: Unlike Seth, my passion wasn’t aviation – but after nearly 40 years in the
industry, it's safe to say I’ve caught the bug! My passion has always been people and
sales, and private aviation allows me to bring those together in a really rewarding way. When I joined Air Partner 12 years ago, I knew it was the perfect fit because the culture here mirrors what matters to me most: building genuine, long-standing relationships.

What do you find most rewarding about your role?

Jeanne: For me, it’s the people – both the passionate colleagues I work alongside and the clients I have the privilege to serve. Many of those clients have been with me for decades, and that says everything about the strength of the relationships we’ve built. Private aviation isn’t one-size-fits-all; every client has unique needs, and I love that we focus on delivering personalised solutions.

Seth: I’d echo that. The job is challenging, but the people make it worthwhile. At the end of the day, we’re solving complex puzzles for our clients, often under intense time pressure. Our role is to stay ten steps ahead, handle the complex logistics, and mitigate any issues. I love achieving something that the client didn’t think was initially going to be possible, and knowing we’ve made their travel seamless, safe, and stress-free is incredibly rewarding.

Why is providing a bespoke service so important?

Seth: Because travel is deeply personal, and no two clients, or charters, are the same. One may need a quiet, work-conducive cabin, another is travelling with family and pets, and another may be a nervous flyer who requires extra reassurance. It’s about tailoring each journey so it works perfectly for that client at that moment.

Jeanne: Exactly. It’s the details that make the difference, whether that’s negotiating out-of-hours airport slots, sourcing the ideal aircraft at short notice, or rapidly securing permits. And then there are the personal touches – remembering a client’s favourite catering, arranging gifts or decorations for a special occasion, or simply being there to wave them off. It’s about being proactive, reliable, and value-driven. That’s why clients come back, time and time again.

Private aviation is a competitive space. Why do you think so many people choose Air Partner?

Seth: For me, it’s simple – our safety standards – because when the rubber meets the runway, that’s all that really matters. Air Partner has long set the benchmark for safety in aviation, going far above industry requirements and backing that up with exceptional service. Too often, private aviation is reduced to buying low and selling quickly without proper processes – but that’s not who we are. We’re the most trusted provider in the industry, so much so that even other charter companies turn to us for support. It’s that trust and peace of mind that is invaluable.

Jeanne: Air Partner has been in business for over 64 years, and that speaks to stability, trust, and expertise. But it’s not just our heritage that sets us apart; it’s also our breadth of capability. We offer a truly global, full-service solution: private jets, group charter, cargo, emergency response, and even safety and security consulting, all under one roof. No one else offers that portfolio of services.

How does being part of the Wheels Up Group enhance Air Partner’s offering?

Seth: Being part of the Wheels Up Group gives Air Partner an unmatched edge in the market. One of the biggest advantages for our customers is access to Wheels Up’s best-in-class fleet of Phenom 300 and Challenger 350 aircraft. Wheels Up has invested heavily in these jets, and our client can enjoy them without having to engage in fractional ownership, giving them the flexibility, comfort, and performance of top-tier aircraft on demand.

Jeanne: Add to that our relationship with Delta, and the benefits multiply even further. Air Partner, Wheels Up, and Delta are already leaders in their respective fields, but together we’re raising the bar – enhancing the experience for all clients and bringing private aviation to the market in a far more flexible and efficient way than our competitors. Together, we seamlessly cover all aviation needs – someone can fly on a commercial aircraft through Delta and then hop on an ongoing private connection with Air Partner – all delivered through one broker. It translates into a world-class experience.

And finally, what would your dream private jet destination be? And what aircraft would you fly on?

Jeanne: I’d love to fly my family to Sicily to explore our heritage. Aircraft-wise, I’d have to go for the Gulfstream G650. But I also love the simplicity of a King Air to Martha’s Vineyard for a quick weekend escape.

Seth: That’s a tough one! I love Utah, so a Miami-to-Salt Lake City flight on a Challenger 300 would be great. But if we’re talking long haul, Japan is a real wishlist spot. I’d love to experience it with my family and would definitely want to fit in some skiing in Hokkaido.
